The Prototyping Fabrication Fundamentals Certificate will facilitate Engineering, Automation, and Industrial Technology students in developing the skills and knowledge needed to prototype designs using a variety of traditional and digital tools. Students will gain the necessary theoretical and practical applications to design and assemble computer-controlled machines. The areas of study will provide a foundation in 3D design and printing, programming an embedded controller (Arduino) or micro-computer (Raspberry Pi), and fabricate with woods, metals, and plastics. Upon completion of the required courses with at least a "C" or "P" (pass) grade in each course, the student will be eligible for a Job Skills Certificate.
