Prototyping and Fabrication Fundamentals Job Skills Certificate
The Prototyping Fabrication Fundamentals Certificate will facilitate Engineering, Automation, and Industrial Technology students in developing the skills and knowledge needed to prototype designs using a variety of traditional and digital tools. Students will gain the necessary theoretical and practical applications to design and assemble computer-controlled machines. The areas of study will provide a foundation in 3D design and printing, programming an embedded controller (Arduino) or micro-computer (Raspberry Pi), and fabricate with woods, metals, and plastics. Upon completion of the required courses with at least a "C" or "P" (pass) grade in each course, the student will be eligible for a Job Skills Certificate.
