Public Health for Non Health Professionals Certificate of Completion
The program is a 36 hours program that provides future and current professionals who do not have a public health background and want to work/are working with Community Based Organizations and or Faith Based Organizations with basic fundamentals of public Health. Participants learn basic fundamentals of Public Health, Organizations that shape community and public health and the role of Community and Faith organizations. In addition they are introduced, Epidemiology, communicable and non-communicable diseases, health care delivery in the United States, Community Organizing/building and health promotion and Health communication. To earn the Certificate of Completion, all courses must be completed with a "P".
