Social-Emotional and Cognitive Development Certificate of Completion
This noncredit Certificate of Completion introduces theoretical and applied aspects of social and emotional learning and culturally relevant pedagogy. This program is intended for current and future educators. The certificate of achievement courses will increase students' knowledge base and the likelihood of success when working with school-age children, adolescents, and young adults. Students completing the requirements for this certification have completed courses focused on topics including self-assessment, identity and agency, emotional and cognitive regulation, social skills, public spirit, cultural sustainability, equity, justice, and developing content for special populations. After completing this program, students will gain workplace skills relevant to various learning environments.
