PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Certificate Program prepares students to support licensed pharmacists in providing safe and effective medication-related patient care. Pharmacy Technicians play a central role in the preparation and delivery of medications and serve as a liaison between pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients. Pharmacy technicians assist with prescription processing. Addi tional responsibilities include preparing and labeling medication containers in accordance with pharmacy standards and regulations. Pharmacy technicians practicing in Kansas are required to register with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy.
