SOCIAL WORK
curriculum provides the first two years of a four-year program leading to a Bachelor degree in social work. Upon completion of the curriculum at Barton, students will be awarded the Associate in Arts Degree. Social workers are in employed in both public and private agencies and institutions. They work in state, county, and municipal government agencies, and for the military. These areas may include social services, mental health, corrections, hospitals and nursing homes, home health agencies, departments of human resources, community and religious organizations.
