The curriculum also fulfills general education requirements for transfer to a speech or communica tion program at a four-year college or university. Students should consult the catalog of the college or university they plan to attend for specific requirements. After completing an Associates Degree in Communications, students have the opportunity to pursue an advanced degree in the following fields and/or areas: Advertising and Public Relations (lobbyists, promotional managers), Radio and Television Announcers and Broadcasters (interpreters, actors), Reporters and Correspondents, Writers and Editors (tech writers, advertising copy writers, screen writers) and teachers.
