5 CR Examines the foundational concepts of healthcare management and leadership. This introduction to healthcare systems and the role of the manager includes leadership theory, interpersonal and technical skills, and legal and regulatory issues. Course covers: critical thinking, scholarly writing, communication, and leadership skills at the BAS level, as well as the relationship between research, theory, and evidence-based practice.
