4 Lecture Hour(s) This course provides the student with a foundation in the techniques that underlie more advanced courses in statistics. Topics include descriptive statistics, sampling distributions, hypotheses testing and estimation for one and two populations, goodness-of-fit and contingency tables, analysis of variance, linear regression and correlation, and nonparametric statistics. Prerequisite(s): MAT-160 ; Minimum grade C Syllabus for this course
