3 Lab Hour(s) 2 Lecture Hour(s) This course is an introduction to metal joining techniques using welding, brazing, and soldering with an emphasis on safe work practices. This course provides students with a basic understanding of electricity as applied to electric arc welders, metallurgy of welding, welding processes and safe use of oxy/fuel welding and heating.
