SUR-106 — Principles and Practices of Surgical Technology I

3 Lecture Hour(s) This course covers the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of body structures and functions as they relate to treatment and surgical interventions. This course will focus on general and specialty diagnostic testing, treatment, and surgical procedures. The student will learn the perioperative sequence, instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and management of the sterile field.
