ABOD 105 — Introduction to Metal Finishing

Credits: 5 Typically Offered: FALL This course covers the proper methods of filing, metal picking, and use of power grinders to properly finish metal surfaces, as well as the theory of expansion and contraction of metals during welding. Students are introduced to when and how to use plastic fillers. Shop safety is stressed.
