CMT 140 — Construction Methods, Materials and Equipment

Credits: 4 Typically Offered: FALL This course provides an overview of the materials, methods, and equipment used in modern construction. Topics include the properties and applications of masonry, steel, wood, concrete, and plastics, as well as recent trends in construction materials and techniques. Students will also study structural systems, construction codes, and methods for interpreting construction drawings.
