Credits: 2 Typically Offered: SPRING This course prepares the Paramedic student to identify, assess, and manage the patient with a medical emergency. Topics include: Neurology, Endocrinology, allergies and anaphylaxis, Gastroenterology, Urology, Toxicology, Environmental Conditions, Infectious and Communicable Diseases, Behavioral and Psychiatric Disorders, Gynecological and Obstetrical Emergencies, and associated pharmacological intervention.
