Credits: 3 Prerequisite: FIN 326 . Typically Offered: FALL This course studies the concepts and evidence relevant to investments and the management of investment portfolios. Topics include investigating assets and investment alternatives and allocation, diversification, portfolio optimization given risk tolerance, risk and return, active and passive strategies, security valuations, and income tax management. Introduces students to todays most important investment topics.
