HPER 110 — Introduction to Officiating
Credits: 3 Typically Offered: FALLSPR This course will study officiating requirements for sports with an emphasis on mechanics, rule interpretation, and enforcement. Students will also learn communication, decision-making, conflict management to work with coaches, players, other officials, and spectators. The expectation is that students will have the ability to officiate at various sports and levels while managing the responsibilities that come with the role.
