SOC 440 — Applied Sociological Theories
Credits: 3 Typically Offered: ONDEMAND This course focuses on the application of sociological theories and ideas to understand social issues, both the big problems on a societal scale, and the daily issues that affect life, work and community. Through case studies and current issue analysis, the student will develop an understanding of the practical implications of research methods, evaluation research, needs assessment, market research, social indicators, and demographics. This course will explore classical and modern theories as responses to social problems.
