UAS 105 — Introduction to Unmanned Aerial Systems

Credits: 3 Typically Offered: FASPSU The course covers the foundation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Topics will include the history of UAS, classes, UAS systems, the regulations, regulations governing UAS, industry and societal implications, mission planning basics, types of sensors, and a hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS.
