English
The Associate of Arts in English is intended to match, within the constraints of the Core Curriculum, the course of study for the first two years of a program of study in English at a four-year college or university. The degree plan has a 12-hour area of concentration* in English. Field of Study (FOS) is a block of lower-division courses that is guaranteed by state law to transfer and apply to a degree program. It provides the basis for students to enter careers in publishing, editing, education, writing, law, and medicine.
