Political Science Field of Study, AA
The Field of Study Associate of Arts in Political Science completes the course of study for the first two years and provides flexibility for students. The AA-Political Science (FOS) requires 60 credit hours, including 9 credit hours of political science coursework, 3 credit hours in math coursework, 6 hours of directed electives, 33 credit hours in General Education Core, and 9 hours of elective credit hours. Students should check with transfer institutions before registering for general studies electives and directed electives to make sure your courses will be degree-applicable to your bachelor’s degree at the desired transfer institution.
