ACCT220 — Payroll Accounting
This course covers the underlying payroll theory, application, and compliance with various state and federal payroll regulations. Presents accounting systems and methods used in computing and recording payroll. Students will complete a comprehensive payroll simulation for a fictitious company’s payroll activities for a full quarter, including payroll transactions, pay processing, and tax form completion. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 201 - Principles of Accounting I
