BIOL221 — Microbiology Lab
This Microbiology lab course will emphasize the impact of microorganisms on human health and disease, including identification and control pathogens, the mechanisms of pathogenicity and disease transmission, host resistance, immunity, microbial metabolic activities, biotechnology, and recombinant DNA. It must be taken concurrently with the lecture. Some science courses may require specialized software tools, such as lockdown browsers and proctoring applications. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 125 - ~Introduction to College Chemistry or CHEM 127 - ~General, Organic & Biochem I ; or BIOL 120 - ^Human Anatomy & Physiology I and BIOL 121 - ^Human Anatomy & Phys I Lab Corequisite(s): BIOL 220 - Microbiology
