CAD108 — Geographic Information Systems

Geographic Information Systems are a growing part of every aspect of technology and engineering. In this course the student will explore the building blocks of this complex worldwide system including elements of GIS, analysis of spatial information, real-world applications, map creation and analysis. Primary objective is to investigate interactive GIS application rather than develop expert users. Prerequisite(s): CAD 106 - Intro to Civil CAD & Surveying
