CHEM128 — ~General, Organic & Biochem II
This is the second semester of a comprehensive two-semester sequence of chemistry. This integrated course, combines lecture and lab components. This course will include an overview of Alcohols, Reactions, Aldehydes and Ketones, Organic Acids, Amines, Aromatic Compounds, Heterocyclic Compounds, DNA, Hyper-, Iso-, Hypotonic Solutions, Metabolic Disorders, Complex Carbohydrates, Proteins, Lipids, Nucleic Acids, Body Fluids, Blood, Clotting Chemistry, Respiratory Exchange, Metabolic and Respiratory Acidosis and Ketosis. Some science courses may require specialized software tools like lockdown browsers and proctoring applications. This course is only in the spring semester. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 127 - ~General, Organic & Biochem I
