CYBR210 — Intrusion Detection

This course provides an introduction to firewalls and other network security components that work together to create an in-depth defensive perimeter around a Local Area Network. This course examines firewalls in content with the other elements needed for effective perimeter security as well as security within a network. It incorporates an examination of technologies such as packet filtering, authentication, proxy servers, encryption, virtual private networks, log file maintenance, and intrusion detection and prevention systems. Prerequisite(s): CYBR 160 - Information Security Fundamentals
