EDET171 — Advanced Lineworker Skills
The purpose of this course is to develop advanced skills in students that will them stand out in the job market and prepare them to enter the lineworker field. Students will receive instruction and training in advanced equipment applications, detection, advanced safety practices, confined space, and drone operations for utility applications. This course is designed to evolve to keep up with current trends in the lineworker field. Prerequisite(s): EDET 102 - Fundamentals of Electric Power Distribution , EDET 120 - Adv Pole Working Workshop , and EDET 121 - Safety for Electrical Line Workers
