EDUC200 — Foundations of Education

An examination into the relationship between the American public school as a social institution and American society as a whole through a combination of philosophical, historical, and problem-oriented inquiry. This approach will provide students different perspectives, allowing them to see their professional role beyond the confines of the classroom, building more sensitive and effective educators of tomorrow.
