GEOL101 — ~Geological Sciences
This is a combined course in physical geology dealing with the composition, structure, and history of planet Earth. Minerals, rocks, tectonic processes, and physical characteristics of the earth’s surface will be emphasized in the physical component. Evolution, fossils, and the changing conditions and organisms throughout geologic time constitute the historical component. This class is comprised of three hours lecture and two hours lab per week.
