MATH106 — ^Trigonometry
Topics explored in this course include the study of angles in radians and degrees and evaluating trigonometric functions using right triangle and unit circle approaches. Other topics to be explored include verifying trigonometric identities, solving trigonometric equations, solving applied problems using right triangles and oblique triangles, analyzing the graphs and characteristics of trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, performing composition and transformations on trigonometric functions, and evaluating inverse trigonometric functions. Time permitting topics include polar coordinates, complex numbers, deMoivre’s Theorem, and vectors. Prerequisite(s): MATH 105 - ^Algebra or proper placement on test scores
