RADT110 — Patient Care for Radiographers

This introductory course prepares students for entry into the clinical setting. Students will learn infection control, standard precautions, and communication. Students will develop skills in proper body mechanics, patient transfer, vital signs, and patient monitoring. Students will learn routes of medication administration and relevant pharmacology. Students will develop competency at venipuncture. Corequisite(s): RADT 101 - Radiographic Sciences I , RADT 110L - Patient Care for Radiographers Lab , RADT 120 - Radiographic Positioning I , and RADT 120L - Radiographic Positioning I Lab Prerequisite/Corequisite(s): BIOL 100 - The Human Body and BIOL 100L - The Human Body Lab
