RADT120 — Radiographic Positioning I

This course will provide students with the foundation necessary to take radiographic images. Students will learn the basic body planes and positions, nomenclature, and positioning landmarks. Students will learn the basics of equipment operation and build competency in positioning of the chest, abdomen, spine, upper extremity, and lower extremity. Corequisite(s): RADT 101 - Radiographic Sciences I , RADT 110 - Patient Care for Radiographers , RADT 110L - Patient Care for Radiographers Lab , and RADT 120L - Radiographic Positioning I Lab Prerequisite/Corequisite(s): BIOL 100 - The Human Body and BIOL 100L - The Human Body Lab
