RADT230 — Radiobiology
This course continues concepts introduced in RADT 105 and Radiation Physics. It defines and discusses the effects of ionizing radiation on the human body’s tissues and includes instruction on the therapeutic use of ionizing radiation. Students learn the units used to measure radiation dose and their appropriate monitoring devices. Radiation Biology includes instruction on regulations and laws regarding radiation exposure and personnel monitoring. A.S. program
