SDE194 — Programming in Java

This course provides students with a basic understanding of the principles of JAVA programming. It covers syntax, structure and emphasizes problem-solving techniques. Students create programs using input/output statement; if, while, do while, and for-loop logic structure; arrays, functions, and basic object-oriented programming techniques. Students will be able to recognize and correct common programming errors. Prerequisite(s): SDE 188 - Intro to Programming Logic Corequisite(s): MATH 100A - Algebra Essentials or higher, or appropriate test scores
