CHEM 2325 - Organic Chemistry II CHEM 2325 - Organic Chemistry II CIP 4005045203 A study of the nomenclature, classification and reactions of aromatic, aliphatic and arene compounds by means of reaction mechanisms, transition state theory, stereochemistry and elementary infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Aromatics, alcohols, ethers, carboxylic acids, aldehydes, ketones, amines and phenols are studied. (3 lecture, 0 lab) Required skill level: College-level reading, writing and math.
