ALHL - 206 Introduction to Disease 3 ALHL - 206 Introduction to Disease 3 This course introduces students to the study of human disease processes, emphasizing the causes, mechanisms, signs, and symptoms of common diseases affecting major body systems. Students will explore how diseases develop methods of diagnosis and general approaches to treatment and prevention. The course covers infectious, genetic, degenerative, and lifestyle-related diseases. Upon completion, students will have a foundational understanding of disease mechanisms applicable to careers in health sciences and further study in allied health disciplines. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 201 (C or better) AND BIOL 202 (C or better)
