DMSU - 210 Sonographic Pathophysiology 2 DMSU - 210 Sonographic Pathophysiology 2 This course examines the disordered physiological processes associated with disease or injury and its application to sonography. Upon completion of the course, students will describe the basic mechanisms of disease and associated risk factors. Students will gain an understanding of how pathological processes are manifested, how they progress, and their primary and secondary effects. Students learn to differentiate pathologic organisms and inflammatory processes and utilize the appropriate terminology to describe disease states. Pre-requisite(s): Admission into the program AND DMSU 200 (C or better), DMSU 220 (C or better), DMSU 221 (C or better), and DMSU 230 Co-Requisite(s): DMSU 222 and DMSU 241
