USDL - 200 USDOL On-the-Job Training (OJT) 5 USDL - 200 USDOL On-the-Job Training (OJT) 5 This course provides structured, supervised on-the-job training as part of an approved U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) registered apprenticeship program. Students apply classroom knowledge to real-world occupational tasks, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of industry professionals and apprenticeship mentors. Training Requirements: Apprenticeship programs administered through approved Trades Councils include a minimum of 1,000 hours of on-the-job training documented through the employer and apprenticeship sponsor. Credit Conversion: On-the-job training hours are converted to academic credit at a 200:1 ratio (200 training hours = 1 credit hour), resulting in 5 credit hours upon completion of the required 1,000 hours. Validation: All on-the-job training hours must be veriƱed and validated by apprenticeship oƯicials with the U.S. Department of Labor prior to submission of a graduation application.
