CPL 11 — Computer Literacy

Introduction to computer fundamentals for academic and professional use. Students will be introduced to the operational components of computers such as hardware, software, and use of the Windows Operating System. Students will receive hands-on experience using popular software and Email as well as acquire basic Internet skills necessary for research and term paper preparation. Ethical issues in computing will also be addressed. This course is open only to non-business majors.
