DAT 46 — Operating Systems
Course develops an understanding of environment in which computing takes place. It provides students with a understanding of the role of operating systems in control of various computer systems. Students also learn to use JOB CONTROL (JCL) to interface with the system enabling the successful execution of applications programs. Skills in using system utility programs are developed.
