NUR 401 — Nur Care Across Life Span IV

This course focuses on the care of clients with multiple, complex and acute health alterations, across the life span. Emphasis is on the synthesis of previous knowledge and skills for the continued development of the nursing student as a collaborative member of the inter-professional team. The student demonstrates continuing growth in providing safe, competent, compassionate, and evidenced based patient-centered care within the complex healthcare environments to culturally diverse pediatric and adult clients. This course completes the sequential progression of concepts for the nursing program and further develops the associate degree (ADN) nursing students’ skill acquisition in clinical judgment/decision-making, delegation, prioritization, time management, leadership and communication with inter professional team members.
