POL 69 — Introduction to Politics
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts, ideas, and theories in the discipline of political science. Students will explore concepts such as political power, freedom, equality, the relationship of the individual to the political community, the good political community, democracy, and ideology. Students will analyze and evaluate contemporary politics from different ideological perspectives.
