SPN 124 — Don Quijote

This course introduces students to Don Quijote and other texts by Miguel de Cervantes. Through readings, lectures, and essays, students will learn basic terms and methods of literary analysis and gain an understanding of the social conditions that shaped artistic production in Early Modern Spain. In working towards these goals, students will refine their Spanish vocabulary and continue to develop their proficiency in reading, listening, and writing. This course is conducted in Spanish.
