ANTH115 — Introduction to Archaeology

This course is designed as an Introduction to Archaeological Method and Theory. By studying archaeological excavation techniques, research design, classification and analysis of artifacts, as well as approaches toward the reconstruction of ancient cultural systems, students will develop a better understanding of human culture and behavior throughout time and place. NOTE: This course is offered only in the Spring term.
