This course emphasizes the design, operation, diagnosis and repair procedures associated with modern automotive brake systems. Beginning with overhaul of standard drum and disc brake systems, the course of study will include machining processes, hydraulic system design and repair, power brakes and anti-lock brake systems. (Prerequisite or Corequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in AUTO 101)
