This course covers how to analyze data and effectively design databases. The fundamental concepts of relational database design, implementation, and administration are presented. Design concepts include entity relationship modeling and normalization. The relational design is developed using a modeling tool. Database implementation and administration are covered through basic and advanced SQL. (Prerequisites: COMP-126 or equivalent experience)
