EDUC125 — Global Competency in Education

The purpose of this course is to immerse the preservice teacher in the key principles, research, and effective practices that apply to multicultural, culturally responsive, and globally competent teaching. Key concepts are drawn from research, readers, online sources, and authentic applications which are intentionally selected to develop critical analytical skills, cultural and global competencies, and culturally responsive professional dispositions.
