IART205 — Art in the Age of Revolution
This course examines the arts in Western European art and architecture (chiefly France and Britain) from 1770 to 1848. Painting, sculpture and architecture will be considered against the background of such momentous political and social changes as the forming of the United States, the French Revolution, and industrialisation.
