IART207 — Medieval Art
This course is structured around the art of the twelfth century in France, Spain and Britain. It examines the effects of pilgrimage on medieval art; the part played by the Crusades in the spread of artisitic ideas, as well as the ways in which monasticism contributed to the development of the art and architecture of the period.
