IECO107 — Introduction to Economics
This level 1 module provides an introduction to Economics for students on the BA (Accounting and Finance) pathway. It explores both the microeconomic and the macroeconomic aspects of market economies. You will learn how to build models from which you will be able to examine an organisation's behaviour in the face of different forms of competition (microeconomics) and will use models designed to reduce the complexities of economies (macroeconomics) so that decision making at a national and international level might be understood.
