IHIS164 — History of Spain
This course will examine Spain's historical development from prehistoric times to the present. Special attention will be paid to the impact of important historical events such as the Enlightmnt Napoleonic WArs, Fall of absolute monarchy, the several military uprisings during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and industrialization of Spanish society. Will analyze the Spanish Civil War, Franco regime, present constitutional monarchy.
