This course offers a complete overview of contemporary Latin American poetry. Topics include: 1) Avant-garde movements in Latin America. 2) Vicente Huidobro and Creationism. 3) Argentinian Ultraism. The poetry of Cesar Vallejo, Pablo Neruda, and Octavio Paz.
